This 70,000 square foot building included a 175 space parking garage that was concealed inside the exterior skin of the building.  This facility is designed to be the main headquarters for the Henderson Mental Heath program in Broward County, Florida.  Pierce Architectural Group provided complete architecture, interior design, site plan analysis, and site plan approval processing for this project.  There were several distinct types of clients, patients and workers that use the same facility.  It was important that these groups be segregated.  The facility includes a children’s facility with a play area which was carefully screened and separated from the adult areas.  The building incorporates advanced security and data management systems.  The project is under continued study, with a budget of approximately $9 million dollars.
