The 800 Building located on South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was designed, built and is owned by Pierce Architectural Group.  This 10,000 square foot building was designed using “Green Building” principals.   We are presently in the process of applying for the Bronze certification using the Leeds “Green Building” program.  All offices on the interior of the Pierce Architectural Group have views to the exterior.  There is extensive use of natural lighting throughout the building, in fact, most areas do not require the use of artificial lights.  North facing skylights were utilized to enhance the drafting room area.  The building has an advanced energy management system and uses state of the art glazing and shading systems throughout the building.
